…. i’m always a sucker for ice cube trays….

 

lovin’ my 2.99 cube mold ;-)

 

we are working on using it for a chocolate mold but it is a little challenging.  the cubes are only about 1cm and there is a strange lip on the tray preventing a clean scrape for chocolate.   ….. but i think it may make a cool candy bar…. hmmm, will have to work on that.

 

works great for sugar cubes.  working on a coffee dessert and will probably use it for that.  the cubes in the picture are turkish coffee sugar cubes.  sugar caramelized with coffee, cardamon and cloves.  then ground and pressed in the mold.
