as i slowly get this blog rolling again i am starting with some posts that i wrote back when i first arrived in abu dhabi. i put together several stories about the opening of the hotel but they were never published because i struggled with internet access. most of what i am about to post is around six months old but it does remind me of where my head was at in the beginning. looking back i find them very entertaining…..
